Hulks can’t have kids.
The US Military is nothing if not resourceful; after years
spent trying to bring down Bruce Banner, aka the Hulk, they decided to make
gamma radiation work for them. Fight fire with fire, as it were. So was born
the Weapon: Hulk Project.
Using strong and loyal soldiers, the W:H Project produced,
over a period of time, five individuals. Their own Hulk (Clark Duncan), Leader,
Abomination, She-Hulk, and Harpy. These Hulks were gunmental grey in
appearance, and loyal to the US armed forces. But one General Higgs argued that
no Hulk was controllable. He was eventually proven right when Duncan’s Black
Hulk persona arose.
Years later, the General is living in NYC with his son,
Darryl. Darryl is a bike messenger, and is coming to realize he might be this
generation’s Hulk. He’s not sure how he got exposed to gamma radiation, but
it’s getting harder and harder to argue that a huge, brutish, yellow, monster shares
his body. But who do you turn to when your dad is a professional Hulkiller?
Art by TK. Hulk, Leader, Harpy, She-Hulk, and Abomination property of Marvel Comics.
